Malachi Jacobi Andrews was born on January 24, 1994 in Jacksonville, Florida, to Faye Bogins Gates and NeKeith Andrews. He was educated in the Duval County Public School System.
Malachi accepted Christ in 2001, at the Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Bernard Lovett in Jacksonville, Florida.

Malachi departed this life on Saturday, November 7, 2015. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Melba Bogins; grandfathers, Ernest Cooper, and Ronald Mathews; two uncles, Charles Bogins, and Kenneth Bogins.

Malachi leaves behind two daughters in his legacy, Ma’Layla Alonni Andrews, and Ma’Kayla Voncile Andrews; mother, Faye Bogins Gates (Anthony); father, NeKeith Andrews; four sisters, Roychelle Bogins (Antonio Smith), Kearrha Andrews, Kearra Andrews, and Amp’necia Gates; four brothers, NeKeith Andrews Jr., Jamar Andrews, Kevon Andrews, and Lil‘Keith Andrews; aunts, Cassandra Brown, Minnie Nesbitt (William), Charleene Cooper, Nikkie Gates, Linett Grant, and Nancy Ravnell; uncles, Royce Brown, Clarence Bogins, Melvin Bogins, Alvin Bogins (Tonya), Theodore Cooper (Karen), Norman Andrews, Joel Andrews; nine nephews, four nieces, a host of cousins, other relatives, and a special friend, Shantricia Brown, known as (wifey).

The funeral service for Malachi Andrews will be held 11:00 am Friday, November 27st, 2015 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street JACKSONVILLE, FL.
